This Therapist Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between:
MentalHealthNest.com, owned and operated by Sujit Shetty (@infosujitshetty)
AND
The registered mental health professional (“Professional”, “You”, or “Your”).
By registering on this platform, you agree to the following terms:
1. 🏥 Nature of the Platform
MentalHealthNest.com is a digital platform that connects users with independent mental health professionals, including:
- Therapists
- Psychologists
- Psychiatrists
We are not a healthcare provider and do not offer medical or therapeutic services.
2. 👩⚕️ Independent Contractor Status
You acknowledge that:
- You are an independent practitioner
- You are not an employee, partner, or agent of MentalHealthNest.com
- You are solely responsible for your professional services
Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment or agency relationship.
3. 📜 Professional Credentials & Compliance
You agree that:
- All credentials, licenses, and certifications provided are true, accurate, and current
- You hold valid licenses required in your jurisdiction
- You comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines
You must immediately update your profile if any credentials change.
4. 🔒 Confidentiality & Data Protection
You agree to:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
- Comply with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA where applicable)
- Use secure communication methods when interacting with clients
MentalHealthNest.com is not responsible for breaches caused by your actions.
5. ⚕️ Professional Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Diagnosis, treatment, and therapy decisions
- Maintaining professional standards of care
- Ensuring informed consent from clients
MentalHealthNest.com does not supervise or control your practice.
6. 🚫 Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Misrepresent qualifications or experience
- Provide fraudulent or misleading information
- Engage in unethical, illegal, or harmful practices
- Violate client confidentiality
Violation may result in immediate removal from the platform.
7. ⭐ Listings & Platform Rights
By registering, you grant MentalHealthNest.com:
- A non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your profile
- Rights to use your submitted content for platform promotion
We reserve the right to:
- Approve, reject, or remove listings
- Modify how profiles appear
8. 💼 Fees & Payments (Optional Section – Customize Later)
- The platform may introduce subscription or service fees in the future
- You will be notified prior to any charges
9. ⚠️ Limitation of Liability
You agree that MentalHealthNest.com is not liable for:
- Any professional services you provide
- Client outcomes or disputes
- Legal claims arising from your practice
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MentalHealthNest.com from any claims related to your services.
10. 🛡️ Insurance (Highly Recommended)
You are encouraged to maintain:
- Professional liability insurance
- Malpractice insurance
MentalHealthNest.com is not responsible for your coverage.
11. 📉 Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or remove your profile at any time
- Take action in case of complaints, violations, or risks to users
You may also request removal from the platform at any time.
12. 🌍 Jurisdiction & Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by applicable international laws and relevant jurisdictional regulations.
13. 🔄 Updates to Agreement
We may update this Agreement periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Digital Agreement Consent:
